You do not want to take the car, you dream of idleness and freshness, our pool completely renovated in 2018, awaits you. Heated and monitored, it combines pleasure and security.

Teenagers and adults will enjoy the joys of whizzing down the two lanes of our slide, while the little ones have fun in the paddling pool in complete safety under the supervision of their parents. But don't be surprised if, for a few short seconds, the sun is suddenly obscured by the shadow of a passing wing; it will just be one of those strange birds that take off from nearby Mont Lachens and land close to the campsite!

Just a 30-minute drive away heading for Grasse, La Choukasserie equestrian centre welcomes you in its grounds dedicated to the comfort and well-being of both the horse and its rider.

Thrill-seekers, whether brave or careless, can realise the dream of Icarus in La Roque-Esclapon. Accompanied by pilots certified by the French Federation of Free Flight (FFVL), come and discover the sensations of being up in the air in a tandem flight! Up in the clouds, maybe even in the company of vultures, and with Mont Lachens at your feet, take off and for a few minutes live out the dream of Icarus.

If flying or the sensation of flying is your thing, other activities are also available:

• longest zip line in France (2,663 m) at La Colmiane ski resort and activity base (in Valdeblore),
• longest zip line trail in Europe at Caille (near Grasse), and
• bungee jumping from the highest bridge in Europe, the Pont de l'Artuby, in the spectacular setting of the Verdon Gorge.

For those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground, albeit at an altitude of 1,000 metres, in an enchanting and idyllic setting, Taulanne Golf Course (9 km from the campsite, along the N 85 on the way to Digne) is the opportunity for novice and experienced golfers to relax, share a pleasant moment or engage in a little competition in the heart of totally unspoilt countryside on a course measuring almost 6,300 m.

Not forgetting canyoning, an adventure trail, aqua hiking, via ferrata, and climbing; the area's many facilities mean you can enjoy a wide range of activities in the company of qualified instructors and guides in the Verdon Gorge, an environment that's more than ideal and waiting just for you.

Nature lovers can marvel at the natural world in total safety

• among the many marine animals at Marineland in Antibes, or
• at the Monts d'Azur Biological Reserve (near Thorenc): an area of wilderness where you can sight a wide range of animals that roam freely there including European bison, deer, and chamois.
• Finally, there's the Alpha de Boréon Animal Park in Saint-Martin-Vésubie where, in its natural habitat, you can observe the animal from the stories and tales that rocked our childhood - the wolf.

Many of the other places to visit, such as the perfume makers of Grasse, the markets of Provence, the Plateau de Caussols and Mont Gros observatories (Calern plateau and Nice respectively), along with the underground chambers of Saint Vallier (near Grasse), will take you on an unusual and enchanting journey.
