Grasse Perfume capital

The Alpes Maritimes department is known for its seaside towns the likes of Nice, Cannes, and Antibes.
But closer to the campsite, at around an hour's drive, in the hills north of Cannes, known and renowned for its perfume industry, you'll find the town of Grasse, world capital of the perfume industry: an invitation to spend a day enjoying a breath of fresh in a verdant setting of mountains, forests and caves. In addition to the International Perfume Museum, you can also visit the Fragonard, Molinard and Galimard perfume factories. Stroll through the old town with its narrow streets and admire Rubens' paintings in the cathedral.
